As one of Italy’s most famous ski resorts, Madonna di Campiglio is a chic yet family-friendly destination that offers breathtaking scenery courtesy of the surrounding Brenta Dolomites, 150km of tree-lined and open slopes, and plenty of off-piste activities. The village itself is pedestrian-friendly and set in a beautiful wooded valley, dotted with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, offering easy access to multiple lifts. The surrounding ski area has a variety of terrain types perfect for both beginners and intermediates, and the boundless snowmaking system ensures dependable conditions throughout the ski season. Most of the main trails feature state-of-the-art chairs and gondolas, and the terrain spans as far north as Folgarida and as far south as Pinzolo.

Intermediates: The ski resort offers an abundance of easy runs across all sectors, with some of the gentlest slopes located in the high open Grostè sector. Additionally, tree-lined runs are abundant in the Pradalago sector. For those intermediate skiers looking for more challenging terrain, steeper runs can be found throughout the resort, notably on the front side of Monte Spinale, Cinque Laghi, the lower part of Folgarida, and Pinzolo.

Advanced: While there are several black runs in Madonna di Campiglio, the resort might be somewhat limited for truly advanced and expert skiers. The steepest run can be found descending the front face of Monte Spinale, with additional challenging slopes in the Pinzolo area.

Snowboarding: Madonna di Campiglio boasts Ursus Snowpark, one of the premier snowboarding areas in the Alps, encompassing an expansive 100,000m². Located at the peak of the Grostè area, 2,500 meters above sea level, it's easily accessible via the Grostè gondola and served by the six-seater Grostè Express chairlift.
