Avoriaz’s organic architecture mimics the natural shape of the mountains, blending in its beautiful surroundings. The resort is eco friendly with car-free snowy streets lined with horse-drawn taxis, so when we say it’s ski-in ski-out we really mean it! Avoriaz is linked to one of the biggest ski areas in France, Portes du Soleil, where you can enjoy endless pistes for all levels, including backcountry routes full of dreamy fresh powder. If you fancy a break away from the snow, you can enjoy the Aquariaz Water Centre - a tropical paradise jungle full of waterfalls and slides and then get your après on at La Folie Douce. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, ice diving, heli-skiing and snowmobile tours are also on offer.
