Skiing in Keystone

Beginners: Keystone offers a welcoming environment for beginners, especially on Dercum Mountain, which features wide, gentle slopes like the 3.5-mile Schoolmarm trail, perfect for first-timers. The Discovery Learning Area and Keystone’s ski school ensure that newcomers have the best start on the snow.

Intermediates: With 39% of Keystone’s terrain dedicated to intermediate skiers, there are plenty of long, scenic runs to explore. The wide groomers on North Peak and intermediate trails like Frenchman and Paymaster provide excellent cruising opportunities.

Advanced: Advanced skiers will love the challenging moguls and steep slopes on North Peak and The Outback. The hike-to terrain in the bowls, including Independence and Erickson Bowls, offers expert skiers untracked powder and breathtaking views.
