Skiing in Park City

Beginners: Park City caters to beginners with gentle terrain and dedicated learning areas. High Meadow Park, located at Canyons Village, offers beginner-friendly slopes with dedicated snowmaking for consistent conditions. Skiers can also explore the long green runs of Home Run for a scenic and gradual descent.

Intermediates: With almost half of the resort’s trails classified as intermediate, Park City is a haven for intermediate skiers. King Con and Silverlode lifts give access to long blue runs that offer variety and stunning views. Peak 5 and Canyons Village offer additional terrain with rolling groomers perfect for intermediate skiers.

Advanced: Advanced skiers will relish Park City’s challenging black diamond trails, especially in the Jupiter Peak area. The McConkey’s Bowl is known for its thrilling steeps, while the tree-lined runs of Motherlode Meadows provide plenty of adventure. Those seeking a challenge can hike up to Jupiter Bowl for some of the resort’s steepest terrain.

Off-piste: Park City offers plenty of off-piste and backcountry skiing, with lift-accessible powder stashes and ungroomed terrain. Jupiter Bowl is a popular off-piste destination for advanced skiers, featuring deep powder and challenging lines among the trees.

Snowboarding: Park City is a snowboarder’s paradise with six terrain parks and one of the largest superpipes in North America. From beginners to advanced freestylers, snowboarders can explore parks like 3 Kings Terrain Park or hit the massive jumps and rails in Neffland.

Families

Park City is a highly family-friendly destination, offering plenty of activities both on and off the slopes. The resort’s Kidtopia program provides a range of activities just for kids, including the Adventure Alleys that feature kid-centric ski zones. Families can also enjoy skiing together on the wide and easy-going green runs. Camp Keystone offers fun lessons, while the Family Ski Trail ensures a memorable day on the mountain for everyone.
