The snowiest week in Steamboat typically falls in the fourth week of December, with around 4.2 snowy days and 32 cm of snowfall. For continuous excellent skiing conditions, Steamboat's extensive snow-making system covers 152 hectares, complementing natural snowfall, especially during dry spells.
