A hub for off-piste enthusiasts, Verbier, within the vast 4 Vallées ski domain, captures the essence of adrenaline and alpine beauty. From its pulsating nightlife to its challenging descents, it promises a ski experience that's as vibrant as its après-ski scene.
Beginners: With sunny nursery slopes located centrally in the village, newcomers find the Audi Kids Village and two drag lifts as primary starting points. These areas, well-equipped with snowmaking facilities, ensure snow reliability. As beginners progress, the gentle blues of La Chaux and Savoleyres serve as excellent transition zones. Les Moulins stands out for children with its dedicated kids’ club, while Les Esserts provides a scenic introduction for older novices.
Intermediates: Many of the slopes suitable for this skill level are situated above and below Les Ruinettes. However, the Savoleyres region is an attractive alternative, offering an array of cruisey blue and red ski runs, all set alongside the quaint resort of La Tzoumaz. For those seeking a broader adventure, the interconnected routes between Siviez and Thyon within the 4 Vallées ski area present longer, satisfying runs.
Advanced: The area boasts challenging terrains like the Chassoure-Tortin run and the exhilarating descent from the Mont Gele summit. The majority of Verbier's steeper slopes are designated as itineraries. While they're marked and undergo avalanche control, they're neither maintained nor patrolled, making them a thrilling challenge, especially post-snowfall.
Snowboarding: The ski area offers a spacious terrain park at La Chaux and an even larger park at Thyon. Beginners in snowboarding can practice at the resort’s nursery run at Les Esserts, while more experienced boarders can enjoy the pristine powder of Bruson.
Off-piste: Among all Swiss ski resorts, off-piste skiing is one of Verbier's trademarks. Itinerary runs, such as the Col des Gentianes Tortin, Mont Gele, and others, offer impressive off-piste opportunities. Notably, areas like Stairway to Heaven and Hidden Valley beckon those who are accompanied by guides. Bruson, in particular, with its tree paths, is a go-to spot during adverse weather.

I usually book flights, transfers, hotel, ski rental and lift passes myself but this year used WeSki for a trip to Morzine. It was so much easier. Everything worked perfectly - transfers arrived on time and there was plenty of feedback throughout the whole process giving you confidence the holiday would go smoothly.
A really useful service that is so much easier to use than other ‘all-inclusive’ sites. It nicely bridges the gap between a travel agent and booking the trip yourself online. I will use WeSki every time I go skiing from now on.
We booked a late minute skiing trip to Morzine through we ski. We looked at booking the trip ourselves but could get anywhere near the price quoted by we ski. The company was excellent and we had no problems at all from start to finish. I would definitely use them to book another weekend skiing trip.
Seamless experience from start to finish. I was spending ages trying to sort out a weekend break and managed to do it with we ski in minutes and for the same price as booking it all up yourself. Flight, transfer and accommodation was all as expected and faultless.
