Skiing in Kranjska Gora

Beginners: Kranjska Gora is an excellent resort for beginners, with wide nursery slopes conveniently located near the village. The gentle gradients and easy blue runs provide the perfect environment to practice the basics.

Intermediates: Intermediate skiers will love the tree-lined red runs on the northeast-facing slopes of Mount Vitranc. Trails like Vitranc 1 and 2 offer stunning views and longer descents, making them ideal for perfecting parallel turns. The resort's compact size ensures easy navigation and plenty of opportunities to explore without feeling overwhelmed.

Advanced: While the resort doesn’t offer a large number of black runs, advanced skiers can challenge themselves on the steep World Cup slalom course. Other black runs on the east side of the ski area provide exciting options for experienced skiers looking to test their skills.

Snowboarding: Kranjska Gora is a popular destination for snowboarders, particularly beginners and intermediate riders. Wide nursery slopes make learning easy, while more experienced boarders can enjoy free-riding through the trees and exploring the snow park, which features jumps and rails for freestyle enthusiasts.
