At the gateway to the Portes du Soleil, in Champéry skiers and snowboarders can explore 650km of pistes, ranging from gentle greens to challenging reds and the legendary Swiss Wall, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the Dents du Midi.

Skiing in Champéry

Beginners: Champéry’s ski area provides an excellent starting point for beginners. The Borreguiles ski station offers wide, gentle greens, ideal for practising first turns. The ESS Kids Club, located near the Palladium Sports Centre, offers beginner courses for young skiers with features like a magic carpet and a heated playroom.

Intermediates: Intermediate skiers can revel in the variety of reds and blues throughout the Portes du Soleil. The rollers on the Grand Paradis runs are a must-try, offering picturesque descents that wind through serene alpine terrain.

Advanced: Advanced skiers will find plenty of challenges in Champéry, including the infamous Swiss Wall. Known as one of the most difficult runs in the world, this ungroomed, mogul-laden slope demands expert skill and guarantees adrenaline-filled descents. Off-piste opportunities and challenging reds and blacks add to the excitement.

Snowboarding: Snowboarders can enjoy the diverse terrain and the Superpark, complete with jumps, a half-pipe, and a boardercross track. Night boarding is available every Wednesday and Saturday, allowing enthusiasts to extend their time on the mountain under the stars.

Families

Champéry is a family-friendly resort with activities and amenities for all ages. The ESS Kids Club provides seamless childcare and beginner lessons for young skiers, while older children can explore the gentle pistes with confidence. Off the slopes, families can enjoy ice skating, sledging, and curling at the Palladium Sports Centre.
