Skiing in Filzmoos

Beginners: Filzmoos is exceptionally beginner-friendly, boasting two dedicated learning areas near the village center that provide a stress-free start on wide, uncrowded nursery slopes. Located at the base of the Grossberg chairlift and in Rettenegg, these zones allow newcomers to safely develop their skiing skills, with the support of one of the three local ski schools.

Intermediates: Filzmoos offers intermediates a wealth of terrain, especially around the Grossberg and Mooslehen chairlifts. Advanced: Advanced skiers looking for a challenge will find the Papageno gondola ideal, as it ascends to the Moosalm slopes featuring the challenging Hochleiten black run. Additionally, the extensive Ski Amadé region, accessible with the same lift pass, provides an array of off-piste opportunities and demanding pistes, including the 8km Olympic Run from Altenmarkt to Radstadt.
