Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps on the nursery slopes or an advanced skier seeking a challenge on steep descents, Westendorf caters to all abilities.
Beginners: Westendorf is an ideal destination for beginners, with its nursery slopes located conveniently in the village centre. The gentle, wide-open pistes are perfect for building confidence, while the excellent local ski school ensures smooth progression.
Intermediates: Intermediates will relish the wide variety of terrain accessible from the Alpenrose gondola. From the top, skiers can head toward the open slopes of Gampenkogel or explore the interlinked SkiWelt area, which offers plenty of long blue and red runs with stunning panoramic views.
Advanced: Advanced skiers can challenge themselves on the steep black runs of the Choralpe and the demanding reds near the top of the Brixen gondola. For more variety, a Super Ski Card grants access to the extensive Kitzbühel ski area via the Ki-West gondola.
Snowboarding: Wide-open pistes make Westendorf an excellent place for beginner snowboarders, while the Boarders' Playground is a top-class terrain park that attracts intermediate and advanced freestyle enthusiasts.
Westendorf is a family-friendly resort with a range of activities for all ages. The nursery slopes in the village centre make skiing accessible and stress-free, while the local ski school offers a dedicated ski kindergarten for children aged three and up. Off the slopes, families can enjoy torchlit hikes, sledging, or ice skating on a natural rink.
Snow activities: snowshoeing, nordic walking, tobogganing, sledging, snow biking.
Non-skiing activities: horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, bowling.
Though small in size, Westendorf boasts a lively après ski scene. The village has a selection of bustling bars, including Gerry's Inn and Liftstuberl, where you can enjoy live music and mingle with other skiers. For a cozier vibe, head to Kiko's Bar near the nursery slopes or the basement bar under the Jakobwirt Hotel.
Westendorf’s dining scene showcases the best of Tyrolean cuisine. Many of the top restaurants are located within hotels, such as the Kaiserhof, known for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional dishes. On the mountain, options like Choralpe and Ki-West restaurants offer hearty meals with spectacular views. The larger SkiWelt area adds even more variety, with over 70 mountain huts serving everything from traditional Austrian fare to international favorites.

I usually book flights, transfers, hotel, ski rental and lift passes myself but this year used WeSki for a trip to Morzine. It was so much easier. Everything worked perfectly - transfers arrived on time and there was plenty of feedback throughout the whole process giving you confidence the holiday would go smoothly.
A really useful service that is so much easier to use than other ‘all-inclusive’ sites. It nicely bridges the gap between a travel agent and booking the trip yourself online. I will use WeSki every time I go skiing from now on.
We booked a late minute skiing trip to Morzine through we ski. We looked at booking the trip ourselves but could get anywhere near the price quoted by we ski. The company was excellent and we had no problems at all from start to finish. I would definitely use them to book another weekend skiing trip.
Seamless experience from start to finish. I was spending ages trying to sort out a weekend break and managed to do it with we ski in minutes and for the same price as booking it all up yourself. Flight, transfer and accommodation was all as expected and faultless.
